Founded in January 2015, Fan’s Cooking School is the first and only Chinese cooking school in the region. With unique teaching methods and a passion for authenticity, we illustrate cooking fundamentals step by step to show people the accessibility and enjoyment of cooking Chinese food. The owner Ms. Fan Wang has a passion not only for cooking but various other creative outlets as well such as flower arrangements, painting, etc.
The cooking school started in a small cafeteria at a Chinese school in Johns Creek when Ms. Fan Wang was the principal of the school. At the time when the landlord wanted to close the cafeteria, but Ms. Wang insisted on keeping it open and transitioning it into a multi-use space for parents. There, she kept parents occupied while waiting for their children through engaging them in her cooking school. The interest of parents and clients grew as her business flourished. Soon, the abandoned parent waiting area turned prosperous cooking school became too small and the business moved to their current Johns Creek location in May 2016.
After moving to the larger location, the business kept growing rapidly. With continuous high demands, more and more new services have been added including catering, buffet style lunch, curbside pickup, wedding rehearsal dinner and ceremony banquets, business dinners, family parties, event hosting, etc. Where quality meets passion, Yifan is the perfect place for parties and events where people can seek comfort in its homey atmosphere and enjoy healthy and deliciously authentic Chinese food that they can’t find anywhere else.

Yifan Culinary Summer Camp is specially designed for high school and college students who have a passion for cooking. In a five-day long summer camp program, campers will learn how to cook with fun. Each day we will create specific meals inspired by international cuisine, from Chinese food to American. We will make an appetizer, entrée and dessert each day and students will eat the food they cook. It is an amazing and incredible experience.
